Our Pre-Apprenticeship:
Our nationally recognized comprehensive 5-week training provides hands-on learning designed to give you a foundation no matter what trade you choose. Hands-on training is supported by classroom learning designed to get folks industry-ready.
Participants receive customized support during the training, through placement in a Registered Apprenticeship, and throughout their careers.

Building Futures is the only construction pre-apprenticeship program that is certified by the State of Rhode Island.
We offer graduates an elective welding course with an opportunity to earn American Welding Society Certifications.
Throughout the 5-week training, you’ll also get hands-on training, technical instruction, academic tutoring including support in preparing for your apprentice exam if necessary, emergency and supportive services, career counseling, and more.
