Building Futures and the RI State Apprenticeship Council invite you to nominate an apprentice to be recognized statewide for their contribution to your organization’s mission and day to day operations.

The State Apprenticeship Council will choose one awardee from a building and construction trades registered apprenticeship program and one nominee from a non-trade registered apprenticeship program. Awardees will be celebrated at our Apprenticeship Works Celebration on November 20.

Your nominee should be an active apprentice who has completed their probationary period, or a recent apprentice who completed apprenticeship in 2024.

Nominees may be recognized online during November, alongside employer and sponsor registered apprenticeship programs, as we lift up the successes of the RI Registered Apprenticeship system. If you would like to make a nomination to the State Apprenticeship Council, but not have that nomination included in online promotion of Registered Apprenticeship, please contact Áine McLaughlin at [email protected].
